Our Family

Handclapping & FootstompingRob, Jessica & Henley Lefroy

This right here, ladies and gentleman, is the glow of wedded bliss (and also possibly the consumption of several pre-marital cocktails). We hail from the tropical paradise of Squamish, BC. Our family is predisposed to impromptu dance parties, has an affinity for early 90′s hip-hop, banjo-heavy folk and classic rock, delights in the many splendours of the outdoors, loves baseball, and knows its way around a cultivated diet of hops and barley.

Though we’d like to think that the universe would reward our family for its success in being simply awesome, for the moment we are gainfully employed in noble professions: Rob as a highly skilled and devastatingly handsome carpenter, and myself as an equestrian journalist. I write, he whittles.

This is our four-year-old daughter, Henley. Without dissolving into a puddle of parental pride, she is the purest form of joy and love and makes our every day an absolute blast. She enjoys a good thigh-slapping hootenanny, food in its every form, art, animals, and dinosaurs.

This blog will highlight the stops, starts and sputters of travel with our family of three.

    1. Hi Cameron! Thanks for stopping by. I am stoked that you and Rob got to chat at the airport. Thanks for the license plate tip, I would have never considered it but I definitely would have considered poaching an exotic plate when I was a punk little kid. Happy to have you along for the ride!

  3. Hi guys. I just met you parked up at the beach near Malaga. Hope to see you in England at one of the uk syncro meets. You’re welcome to come and stay with us if you’re traveling into SW England. Rich Haslock and family
